Please help CVS keep registration costs down! Booking a reservation at one of the designated CVS properties helps us avoid low-performance penalties that ultimately increase our expenses. The conference hotels are across the street from one another; the OD program is at the Steamboat Grand Resort, and the Paraoptometric Program and Exhibit Hall are at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort. The CVS room block will be released on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.

Sheraton Steamboat Resort

The Sheraton Steamboat Resort is located at 2200 Village Inn Court, Steamboat Springs, CO, just 160 miles northwest of Denver. This resort property has full-service health club, outdoor pool, spa, roof top hot tubs, game room, retail shopping, 2 restaurants, and an 18-hole golf course.

Rooms reserved by CVS have cable TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, humidifer, air conditioning, in room safe, hair dryer, ironing board/iron, private balcony.

Rates:
$155 Double Queen, 2 beds/1 bath (max occupancy 4)
$155 King, 1 bed/1 bath (max occupancy 2)

An 11.4% tax (combination of local, state and lodging taxes) and resort fee will be added to the room rates listed above. The $17/day resort fee includes self parking, PM shuttle downtown, local and 800 calls, 2 bottles of water in room per day, in room high speed Internet, golf storage.

Reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit 10 days from time of booking or guaranteed with a major credit card. Children 12 and under stay for free. Cancellation of reservations must be made within 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid full payment of stay.

Steamboat Grand Resort

The Steamboat Grand Resort is located at 2300 Mt. Werner Circle, Steamboat Springs just 160 miles northwest of Denver. This resort property has full-service fitness center, steam and sauna rooms, spa, outdoor pool and 2 restaurants.

Units reserved by CVS have cable TVs, DVDs, complimentary wireless internet, humidifiers, in-room safe, coffee makers, hair dryers, ironing boards and irons.

$112 Studio - Queen Murphy bed, kitchen, sleeper sofa, dining table, full bath (max occupancy 2)
$112 Double Queen Room - two queen beds, desk, chair, full bath (max occupancy 4)
$141 One Bedroom Condo - king or queen bed, full kitchen, fireplace, sleeper sofa, dining area, full bath, balcony (max occupancy 6)
$164 Two Bedroom Condo - A combination of king and queen beds, full kitchen, fireplace, sleeper sofa, dining area, 2 full baths, balcony (max occupancy 8)

An 11.97% tax (combination of local, state and lodging taxes) plus 5% resort fee will be added to the above room rates.

Reservations must be accompanied by a first night's room deposit or with a major credit card. Children 12 and under stay for free. Deposits are nonrefundable. Guests will be charged one night's room and tax at the time reservations are made. Remaining balance will be billed to guest upon check out of the hotel. Cancellation of reservation must be made within 7 days prior to arrival to avoid full payment of stay.
